Selected work
A few projects at the intersection of medicine and applied AI.
A physician-engineer, on purpose
I'm not leaving medicine to become an engineer — I'm building the bridge between them. My path combines clinical training with AI, engineering, and healthcare product development, because the problems I care most about (diagnosis, access, decision-making at the bedside) don't get solved by choosing just one side of that line.
The long-term goal is bigger than any single project: to build an organization that helps healthcare systems adopt AI responsibly — real pipelines, real evaluation, real clinical accountability — and leave the systems I work in a little better than I found them.
Day to day, that means moving between clinical rotations, research, teaching and mentoring junior researchers, and building software — usually in intense, focused cycles rather than evenly spread days.
Where I spend my energy
Clinical Medicine
Final-year MD training, grounded in direct patient contact — the source of every problem worth solving.
Clinical AI & Engineering
Building applied AI systems for medical documentation, decision support, and precision medicine — with deterministic validation, not just model output.
Research
Systematic and scoping reviews, clinical research, and evidence-based writing — practiced in reporting-guideline-compliant methodology.
Teaching & Leadership
Leading a university research & technology committee, mentoring junior researchers, and building repeatable systems for teaching research from scratch.
Method, not just output
Systematic and scoping reviews, clinical research, and evidence-based writing — practiced in reporting-guideline-compliant methodology, alongside ongoing work in research mentoring and study design.
